History

It has become a yearly tradition that we organise an international meeting/run for until 1975 motorcycles every 3rd Sunday of September.

The event dates back to 1977 and is since a value for old motorcycle enthusiasts in Belgium and abroad (UK, The Netherlands, France, Germany, Cyprus).

During the years we have crossed many Flemish roads and we were welcomed in many towns and villages.

Our trajectory is well indicated over the distance of approximately 90 miles.

Every year we can welcome about 250 participants and 80 pillion riders.

Traditionally departure takes place at the main square (Wapenplein) in Ostend.

Inscription is from 09.00 am and the oldest machines start the run at 11.00 am.

At lunchtime we offer the participants a lunch on one of our stops.

A reception with drinks is offered at a guest town around 02.30 pm.

Since 1991 it has become a yearly tradition to make halt at the town of Oudenburg were the Lord mayor, Mr. Dereeper, welcomes us.
